Interview with Alix Hawley

I recently did an interview talking about Too Much on the Inside with the incredibly talented Alix Hawley. Alix is the author of the wonderful novel All True Not a Lie In It (which was the winner of the amazon.ca first novel award, and recently, was longlisted for the Gillers) I had so much fun with her thoughtful, insightful questions. I even got to make a soundtrack for the book (including Simon Wilcox, K'naan, Metric, Sondre Lerche and more) I also talked about the inspiration for the title, which came from an amazing song byPrincess Superstar (and talked about the inspiring work of Cathleen With,Ayelet Tsabari, and Russell Smith) check it out the interview here:
Lors d’un séjour à Marrakech, je cherchais une adresse qui sorte un peu de l’ordinaire pour le dimanche. En découvrant le brunch chez Lily Billy à Marrakech, j’ai été séduit par l’ambiance générale et la décoration soignée. Une fois sur place, j’ai surtout retenu la sensation d’un lieu pensé pour qu’on s’y sente à l’aise, sans formalité excessive.
