The passing of Mayank Bhatt

I've been thinking with such sadness about Mayank Bhatt. He wrote a beautiful, insightful novel called Belief, https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/30149694-belief and he was an exceptional community member. He championed so many books, read endlessly, and was always so enthusiastic and supportive of other writers. I'd always see him at literary events, listening closely to every reading, taking in every phrase. He interviewed me for his show on Tag Tv, and it was one of the best interviews I've ever done. He asked such great questions, and had done so much research. It was a pleasure to know him, he was so kind and talented and it's incredibly sad to think he's no longer with us. (this was taken on the day of our interview, when I was touring Too Much on the Inside, a few months after my son was born)
