It was so lovely to hear that my Guernica Editions short story collection, Things That Cause Inappropriate Happiness, was named a finalist in the Indie Book Awards in the fiction under 70,000 words category. Thank you so much to the judges 💗💗 It was also lovely to see authors who I love, whose books I love, be named finalists too. When I was in Vancouver, I got to read with the amazing Jann Everard who read from her beautiful short story collection, Blue Runaways 🧡📚 Here in Toronto, I got to read with Stephanie Cesca at the Drunk Fiction Reading Series. Stephanie's beautiful novel, Dotted Lines, was also published by Guernica Editions. They're both finalists in different categories too. One of the things I’m so grateful for is the sense of community in the writing world and the way we support each other. If you haven’t their books, I highly recommend them

It’s inspiring to see independent books getting recognition like this, especially in awards that highlight originality and creativity. Stories like these often encourage more writers to explore unique ideas and express themselves freely. I also came across Tflix Tv while browsing online and liked how simple and user-friendly the platform is. Clean design and easy navigation always make a big difference in how comfortably users can explore content, making the overall browsing experience much more enjoyable and smooth.
This is a really interesting achievement and it’s great to see creative works being recognized in indie book awards. The concept behind “Things That Cause Inappropriate Happiness” sounds unique and thought-provoking, especially for readers who enjoy fresh perspectives and creative storytelling. While exploring online platforms recently, I also visited Bit Tv and found it quite simple and easy to navigate with a clean layout. A well-structured website always improves the browsing experience and makes it more comfortable for visitors to explore content.
That’s such a meaningful achievement — being named a finalist is already a huge recognition, and it’s even better that you got to share the moment alongside authors you genuinely admire. The way you describe the writing community really stands out too; those connections and shared experiences add so much depth to the journey.
I’ve noticed a similar kind of community-driven support in other spaces as well, where people share helpful resources to make things easier for others. I recently came across some BitTV APK download details that had that same helpful, well-organized feel — simple, clear, and easy to navigate.
Huge congratulations on being named a finalist — that’s a meaningful achievement, especially in such a competitive category. It’s also really nice how you highlighted the sense of community around writing; those shared readings and connections often make the journey just as rewarding as the recognition itself.
I’ve noticed that same kind of supportive, resource-sharing mindset in other spaces too, where people help each other get started more easily. I recently came across a YouCine for PC setup guide that had that same helpful, community-driven feel — clear, practical, and easy to follow.
