I'm so emotional and grateful to see Vidal out in the world, a real book. It was wonderful to meet my publisher, Matt Joudrey of At Bay Press in real life, at the Canlit Conference in Winnipeg, to hold a copy of the book in my hands, and to see it in the hands of friends who've preordered.

I was also incredibly touched by this first review.

🥹💗🧡I love reading Comics Grinder and I’m so grateful for Henry Chamberlain’s generous review of Vidal.

”Vidal is such a beautifully realized work…a narrative that encompasses the world at large with its immense joys and tragedy, all within the journey of one individual…the greatest strength is in its prose narrative followed closely by her passionate paintings… Vidal undoubtedly offers a wonderful window into history and a rich cultural experience…” thank you so so much 🧡

You can read it in full here:

I'm also so excited to be part of some amazing events, including a panel and reading this Friday with some of my favourite authors, including MC Joudrey, Michael Mirolla, Tim Welsh, Nadia Staikos, and Pratap Reddy. An exciting part of Shabbat coming in so late (8:38 this Friday is that I actually get to be part of this!) It's at Ben McNally Books this Friday from 5-7pm. Ben McNally is one of my favorite book stores, in the world, and these are some of my favourite writers so I'm thrilled to be part of this.

I'll also be signing books at TCAF, the Toronto Comic Arts Festival this Sunday June 7th at At Bay's exhibition booth, which is #298

I'd love to see you there!

More details about the launch for Vidal and so much more coming soon!
