Things that Cause Inappropriate Happiness in the new issue of Blank Spaces magazine
If you know me, you know much I love getting mail, so I was extra excited to get my copy of the new issue of Blank Spaces magazine today. The title story in my upcoming Guernica Editions collection, Things That Cause Inappropriate Happiness appears in here, alongside some amazing Canadian writers and artists. It’s a beautiful magazine, and their editor and publisher Alanna Rusnak was a dream to work with. It’s an amazing feeling when someone completely understands a story  (and if they’re also a huge Leonard Cohen fan, it’s extra fun) I was so honoured to be included, and so honoured that she nominated it for The Pushcart Prize. Blank Spaces is a beautiful magazine, I highly recommend it if you haven’t read it yet
