I’m so thrilled to be launching my brand new novel, A Place for People Like Us, in Toronto on Weds Sept 17th, at Flying Books at 784 College Street, with the incredible Catherine Bush.
Catherine's new short story collection, Skin is incredible, and I'm so excited to be in conversation with her about writing, novels and short fiction, and making the transition from one form to the other, readings from both of our books, and so much more. It’s always nice to see the energy around a local book launch, especially one that brings writers and readers together in such an authentic way. Events like this highlight how strong the literary scene is becoming, including spaces shaped by self publishing Canada, where authors continue finding new ways to share their stories.
