It was such an honour to be featured on my favourite podcast, Short Story Today. Jon DiSavino is such an excellent interviewer. He loves the short story form so much, and he asked such brilliant questions. Another amazing feature of the podcast: He gets talented actors to read and perform one of the stories, and in my case, it was my story Don't Look Back, which first appeared on Jewishfiction. net and is of course featured in my Guernica Editions collection, Things that Cause Inappropriate Happiness. It was amazing to hear Sierra Liden act it out so beautifully. What an honour.
Thank you so much again to Jon for having me. You can listen to it here:

This was an easy read for me because it stayed simple and didn’t drag things out. I liked how it explained the “why” behind the suggestions instead of just tossing out a bunch of tips and moving on. Halfway through I ended up clicking around newimage.io too, mostly because it has that same straightforward, guide-first feel when you want a bit more context. Nothing felt like it was trying too hard to sound smart, just practical and written like someone who’s actually dealt with this stuff. Also appreciated that I could skim without missing anything important. The short paragraphs and clear headings made the page feel really clean and easy to scan.
Credit reporting inaccuracies don’t always jump out as obvious mistakes. For me it was one unfamiliar account that didn’t belong to me, but it kept affecting approvals and interest offers. I started digging into what actually qualifies as an inaccuracy instead of just a “delay,” and that’s when I found this page: https://consumerattorneys.com/blog/credit-reporting-inaccuracies. It really helped me understand how small-looking data errors can have long-term consequences on credit decisions.
