I’m thrilled to have a brand new short story, Like Freedom or Fear, in the beautiful Summer 2025 issue of The Brussels Review 🧡📚This story was inspired by the incredible Friedl Dicker Brandeis, her dedication to art and teaching and her students under the most unimaginable circumstances. You can order the issue, which has so many great stories, poetry and non fiction in it, here:

The new short story Like Freedom or Fear in The Brussels Review explores the tension between personal liberation and the quiet pull of uncertainty. Through vivid imagery and emotional depth, the author captures the fragile choices we make when faced with change. It’s a haunting reflection on identity, risk, and resilience. While readers dive into its layered narrative, some students elsewhere are simply wondering how to pay someone to take my online gre exam. The contrast reminds us that every path literary or academic requires courage.
