I was honoured to do this interview with IndieReader about my Guernica Editions short story collection Things that Cause Inappropriate Happiness which won an Indie Reader Discovery Award (IRDA) for Women’s Issues, Fiction. This page feels really easy to hang out on—no clutter, no weird distractions, just the info you actually came for. I was skimming for like a minute and didn’t get lost because the paragraphs are short and the headings pop enough to guide your eyes. Somewhere in the middle I ended up clicking into Drift Boss and it loads you straight into the game vibe without making you jump through hoops. The one-button control idea is explained in a super quick way, which is nice because you can just try it and figure out the timing as you go.
