I'm incredibly excited to have a brand new short story, A Bloom of Jellyfish 🪼in new issue of the The Ex-Puritan magazine, edited by the amazing Anuja Varghese🧡💗🎉📚 The Ex Puritan is one of my favourite literary magazines, ever, and Anuja Varghese is one of my favourite fiction and short writers (if somehow you haven't, check out her brilliant Governor General's award winning collection, Chrysalis https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62090243-chrysalis and preorder her amazing new book: https://www.anujavarghese.com/book/a-kiss-of-crimson-ash/

This story was inspired by my love of all things ocean, my love of the east coast, where I lived for of years, and loved it, and a news article I'd read about ketamine addiction, and a person who began peeing jelly (which turned out to be her bladder lining, as a side affect of ketamine damage)

I'm really grateful and thrilled about this one. You can read it in full here, thanks again : https://ex-puritan.ca/a-bloom-of-jellyfish

also, check out the full issue here, it's all amazing

A Bloom of Jellyfish also appeared in Antae: A Journal of Creative Writing which is based in Malta, though the University of Malta. I'm so excited and grateful to imagine my stories in the hands of readers all over the world (to countries I've never been to, but would love to visit) and I'm incredibly grateful to the editors at Antae for their support and enthusiasm.

Planning our trip to Morocco took months of research because we wanted something truly immersive and unique. After reading several reviews, we chose Luxury Morocco Tours by Sun Trails and it exceeded everything we expected. From arrival to departure, every detail was carefully curated. Our driver-guide was knowledgeable, the itinerary was perfectly balanced, and the accommodations were authentic yet incredibly comfortable. We didn’t feel like tourists, we felt like welcomed guests. The highlight was definitely our night in the Sahara—camel ride, dinner under the stars, and sunrise over the dunes. It was unforgettable.

Reading about your new short story A Bloom of Jellyfish being featured in Ex Puritan and Antae Journal really resonated with me because it captures that surreal mix of beauty and uncertainty that often shows up in both life and learning. I’m currently a master’s student, and I remember being so tense about my exams and online classes especially in subjects like economics that I sometimes wondered whether I should Do My Online Economics Class just to catch a breath and avoid feeling completely overwhelmed by deadlines and pressure. In my free time I have a deep interest in research and writing of any kind blog writing, article writing, or academic writing because exploring stories, metaphors, and ideas helps me process not just academic…
